Zhana explains that the healthcare sector generates more than 30% of the world’s data, yet much of this data remains underutilised. She highlights how AI tools are essential for processing and interpreting this information at unprecedented speed and accuracy. She mentions notable advancements like AlphaFold, which predicts protein structures, and bioXcelerate’s own tool, PleioGraph. PleioGraph accelerates data analysis, identifying potential drug targets 100 times faster while reducing the risk of false leads.
