Andrew Campbell

Andrew Campbell serves as the Commercial Director at BioXcelerate AI, bringing with him a distinguished academic foundation, including an MA in History and Management from the University of St. Andrews. He plays a pivotal role in steering the growth and commercial vitality of the Optima Partners Advanced Data practice and is dedicated to enhancing the BioXcelerate client offering.

With over 10 years’ experience in delivering Management Consulting services with top tier consultancies across geographies, he has worked with both the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Accenture and uses that experience to apply and coach consulting best practices across Optima’s data team.

Andrew’s goal is to deliver the best technical expertise to our clients, combined with the service and commercial rigour of a traditional consultancy service. Andrew brings consulting and problem-solving toolkit expertise to the BioXcelerate data services team. Prior to Optima, Andrew led the Strategic Operations function at Quantium, Australia’s leading data services provider, focusing on initiatives which enabled the business to scale across the globe. He played key roles in the design and build of two joint-ventures with CBA and Telstra to apply great data capability to major Australian institutions.

Today, he leads key client engagement and applies program management rigour to maintain strategic focus on the client critical path; resolve blockers; and problem-solve complex issues. He ensures our technical output reflect the goals of our clients and that the solution meets client or customer needs, as well as leading discussions relating to strategy, operating model, or Agile ways of working.
